A Day of Design in Chicago

A day of design in Chicago with Delta Faucet, She She, Copy Cat Chic and Young House Love | Inspiration tour and design challenge

A couple of weeks ago I took a little trip to Chicago. Most of you probably followed along on my Instagram. The reason? A Day of Design with Delta and John and Sherry from Young House Love. Such a great concept, right? The plan? An architectural tour around Chicago to gather up inspiration for a design board we were to create using Delta and She She products. I love me some good inspiration AND a good design challenge! Sign me up.

Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Modern Wood and Brass Bathroom

A modern wood and brass bathroom seen on SF Girl by Bay gets recreated for less by copycatchic luxe living for less budget home decor and design
TOTAL | $1,826
SOAP $33 | TOWEL BAR $80 | FAUCET $119 | BRASS PLANTER $50 | TEAL PLANTER $20 | CANDLE $65 | TILE (PER SQ FOOT) $3 | SCONCES (EA) $199 | TOWEL $32 | VANITY $880 | MIRROR $149
I can’t get enough of Sophie Carpenter’s sleek bathroom spotted on SF Girl by Bay. That gorgeous floating vanity (with oodles of storage) really grounds the space while the brass mirror and sconces draw your eye up. I’m a firm believer in less-is-more when it comes to countertop accessories, but the luxe planters, candle, and artisanal storage cups used here definitely make the grade. My favorite part might be the sconces, and though I’ve linked the original ones here, don’t miss this similar look for less!
