Halloween is just around the corner. I have to admit I’m not the best at getting my home “fall ready” but I do love jumping aboard the Halloween train. This year the kids were all about Harry Potter – I love it! So we decided to go all out with a Harry Potter themed entryway. I partnered with World Market on the post because of their huge selection of Halloween decor and goodies – Not only do they have all types of Halloween decor for the inside and out, they even have Halloween food and beverages. Way to make it easy for us World Market!
Move over, millennial pink, we’re making room for the season’s trendiest happy-go-lucky color craze – ochre! This fun hue is a great way to transition your home from summer to fall. It’s warm without being too sunny and adds an earthy touch of spice to your space. I’m especially loving this color in texture-rich accents like the round velvet pillow (#3) or the yarn wall hanging (#10).

Things are slowly transitioning to fall over here, but the weather has been so sunny, it’s kind of hard to believe it. Before we completely move over to fall pumpkins and fall foliage, I thought it would be fun to do a late summer/early fall table set up. I partnered with World Market to share my five tips to created a mix+match tablescape. Mixing up your table decor is the perfect way to bring your entertaining game up to the next level.
You can find everything I’ve used today, at World Market. And they have some amazing sales going on for their Gathering Event, which is 50% off all dining furniture, 30% off dinnerware and table linens, 30% off clothing, jewelry and accessories and they’re running their fall wine sale as well! The event runs until Sept 28th, so it’s the perfect time to stock up on fall entertaining necessities! Read on for my five tips for mixing and matching your table decor!
If your front door is your home’s first impression, your door mat is your home’s welcome committee. Sure, they also serve the utilitarian purpose of wiping muddy feet, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be as stylishly thoughtful as the inside of your home! We are loving the trend of layering door mats for an extra statement. Start with a flat cotton weave and then add a slightly smaller coir on top. I’m especially a fan of top layers with witty welcome greetings 🙂 Some favorite combos: A1, D4, and G10. What would look good paired by your front door?
