I tend to veer away from getting too commercialized when it comes to Easter baskets. Gone is yearly the tradition of getting a bright, new (very plastic) Easter basket filled with fake, plastic green grass and fake, plastic, disposable eggs. I cringe just thinking about how wasteful that all was! I like to purchase items that kids will use over and over again or that I can repurpose.[Read more…] about Gift Guide | Easter Basket Favorites with World Market

I’m back with another fun Nespresso recipe – I discovered the best vegan bulletproof coffee recipe using homemade hemp milk and coconut oil! It’s a serious addiction you guys. It’s really so, so good and very filling. Did you know that bulletproof coffee was supposed to replace breakfast? That’s what I’ve heard, and let me tell you, this stuff satisfies. It’s become a necessary part of my daily morning routine. And it’s super easy to make thanks to my Nespresso VertuoPlus and Aeroccino. I mean it. Super. Easy.

With all of the rain here in California lately, we are having some major greens going on. You might have heard of the super bloom? Yes, well every plant in our yard is thriving. Actually, even my indoor plants are pretty happy too. It’s just a great year to develop a green thumb! I’ve been taking full advantage. Over the winter I’ve amassed quite a number of indoor plants and now I’ve set my sights on the outdoors. I partnered with World Market today, to bring you some of their great plant and potting bench supplies. Here are some of my favorites right now.
Starting a new monthly series! I’ll be picking a few favorites and sharing them with you. There won’t always be a theme, I think, but I thought it would be fun to share a couple of unique and natural ways I like to clean house over here. I’ve done a few cleaning posts before, but here are some products I’ve been using (or would like to try!) for spring cleaning this month.

Even though I didn’t make any formal resolutions for the new year, I think my unofficial motto has been to “simplify”. That goes for my life AND home. It definitely goes along with my whole minimalist vibe. On that front, I’ve been on a huge declutter and organizing kick over here at the copycatchic household.
My first project for 2017? The kitchen sink area. No, it’s not glamorous, but under the sink was dark, cluttered and just a complete disaster. I collaborated with method to show you their newest spring limited edition collection and share my minimalist kitchen clean up tips. I thought it was the perfect partnership as their newest collection is based on simplicity, function, and minimalism. Right up my alley!
