Today I’m teaming up with Marshalls to surprise three of my Pinterest followers w a box full of Marshalls products – that I selected based off their Pinterest board. When Marshalls approached me to be a part of the their “Pin Pals” campaign, I was pretty excited. I find it so fun shopping for others. It really gets you in the “holiday spirit”, am I right? Want to see what I got for them? Read on!

The scariest part of Halloween is the thought of my house starting to look like a cheesy party supply store. I want my décor to look festive without throwing off the aesthetic of my home and Halloween is one of those holidays where that can be a challenge! So after much searching, I’m excited to reveal 16 sleek and stylish items that will add the perfect touch of Halloween spook to your home. Warning: you might be tempted to leave them out year-round!
Every year my husband and I throw a Friendsgiving for all of our closest friends. I think we might be going on our 12th year now (wow!). I like to start thinking about table decor early, so when it’s time, I can worry more about food prep and less about decor 😉 I partnered with World Market and went though a little trial run this week. They’re always my first stop for entertaining essentials and decor. You just can’t beat their selection and prices!
I decided to map out a few different looks using the same color scheme. I used a gray buffalo check plaid on the table and mixed it with some white and gray dinnerware. I love how gray is kind of a non-traditional color to use for fall. It really gives the table a more updated look. And isn’t it funny how mixing around the accessories can give the table a different feel? Also a huge factor in tabletop decor? The florals. The gorgeous flowers I used today are from my favorite local floral designer Freya Prowe from Brother & Sisters Flowers.
Take a look at the different table setups below and let me know what you think! Which one is your favorite?
We’ve had a pretty great fall season over here in Northern California. Lots of good camping to be had and now that we’re in winter-mode, I really feel like I have my camping packing list down. I always used to struggle with what to bring camping, I know I’m not alone! I either didn’t pack enough or I packed way, way too much. So I figured I’d share with you, all of my must-haves when we go glamping/camping, some of which I found out about from my friends, who run a glamping location you can check out at https://whitehouseonwye.co.uk/. We went to Tahoe the week before last and I figured I’d take some fun pictures of my camping set up for you all.
We’re venturing off into something a little different today. If you’ve been a blog follower for long, you’ll know that I like to live consciously, aka eco-friendly, aka green. I’ve talked about my skincare routine before, and today, I thought it would be fun to bring you my easy daytime makeup routine, all organic of course 😉 I’ve just recently started using Juice Beauty’s new makeup line. They released their makeup products less than a year ago actually, and already they’ve become a staple around here. The foundation and concealer products work better than any I’ve tried! Each product is so moisturizing and nourishing for my (naturally dry skin). I’m not usually a big fan of makeup because I can feel it just sitting like a layer of paint on my face; not so with these! I no longer feel like I’m clogging my pores with toxic makeup. So I reached out to Juice Beauty to collaborate on this post (and giveaway) for you guys. I highly recommend, love (and USE) their makeup.

We’re halfway through September and I’m really starting to feel the Halloween vibes. Time bring in dark and moody. What do you guys think? Are you ready? I think Halloween is the perfect opportunity to play with your decor a little bit and step out of your comfort zone. I thought it would be fun to walk on the vintage industrial side this fall. Not only is it a fun decor trend, but it fits right in for Halloween time!
I partnered with Kirkland’s to showcase their vintage industrial inspired decor. They have quite a hearty collection right now and it’s just so reasonably priced. It’s hard to resist 😉 ALSO another fun fact: Kirkland’s is celebrating their 50th anniversary! Featuring them as my #FiveforFifty partner is just plain perfect.

I’ve talked to you before about my cleaning routines whether it’s daily cleaning, how I clean “green“, how I cleaned after moving or even just cleaning up clutter. Today I wanted to talk to you about one of my daily cleaning secrets. In my clean slate post I mentioned doing a quick daily clean of the floor. Well, I totally understand how hard it is to carve out time in the day for the good stuff (like reading or exercising) let alone time to clean. So I’m going to let you in on my cleaning secret weapon: robots. Yep, that’s right. We use a robotic vacuum 😉 We’ve had one since we’ve moved and it’s a serious lifesaver. There’s nothing like a daily vacuum to keep the house looking tidy. It makes a HUGE difference. When BobSweep contacted me and offered to send me their bObi Classic Robotic Vacuum to review, I was excited to give it a try. I mean I’ve never had a robot that sweeps, vacuums, sterilizes, has a HEPA filter and MOPS all at the same time. Pretty freakin fabulous right?
The wet mop pad easily attaches to bObi Classic and wipes up those stickies in the kitchen and under the dining table. And with young eaters in the house it’s definitely helping hand; bObi Classic sweeps and cleans the floor while we do the dishes.
The kids are also kind of obsessed with bObi…they want her on and running…constantly. Seriously, constantly. bObi is pretty good at following their snack crumb trails around the house, I must admit.
bObi is also very, very good at helping me with my shedding problem. I seriously drop hair like nobody’s business. I’ve always been this way…it’s amazing I have as much hair as I do with how much bObi Classic can find on the floor 😉
I love that bObi can sterilize with a UV light. Such a cool feature! We recently had a round of the sickies over here and it makes me feel better that those germs aren’t lying around waiting for guests.
Even if the rest of your house is a little bit of disaster, if the floor is clean and mopped, it makes a world of difference. Believe me, people always think my house is super clean because the floors are spotless.
And last, but not least…I adore how sleek and clean the bObi Classic looks. The streamlined glass top is so aesthetically pleasing, that I’m totally ok with having bObi Classic hanging out in my living room anytime.
Here’s a short little video of bObi Classic in action, starring Arden and Conrad.
You can find a bObsweep to fit pretty much any need right here. They have great customer service and ship nationwide.
