Anybody remember forest green being every house back in the 90s? Well, what comes around goes around, and forest green is definitively having a moment that we think will last. This color is especially trending in kitchens and makes a sophisticated statement on lower cabinets like in Studio McGee’s idyllic Denver Tudor. But forest green can shine in other rooms as well! I rounded up 12 modern ways to use forest green throughout your home. Are you ready to embrace the throwback shade again?

With the holidays over and all of the Christmas decor packed away, I’m starting to slowly switch gears. The house felt like it was missing something once all the fun holiday decorations came done. So I’ve starting thinking about moving things around and restyling spaces. One easy place to start with is the front door area. First impressions and all right? It makes sense because having a clean and good looking entry really sets the tone. Well our doorway has been pretty neglected these days, so it was about time we paid it a little attention, don’t you think?
I partnered with Kirkland’s because not only do they have amazing prices on pretty much everything, but their tagline is just perfect for this project: “Your Doorway to Home“. I knew they’d be able to help me out for this quickie revamp without doing too much damage to my wallet.
Here we are, it’s mid-November and Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I partnered with Kirkland’s for today’s #FiveforFifty to bring you a great little round up of some super chic home items that would make great gifts for your favorite hostess or home enthusiast. Kirkland’s is such a great spot to find reasonably priced, quality home items and these are some of my favorite products this season! They seem like the perfect way to spread the joy and cheer.
Also Kirkland’s wants to see how you are decorating your stoop for Christmas with Kirkland’s Christmas products. Show them your decorated front door on Instagram with the use of the hashtag #DoorwaytoChristmaslandContest for a chance to win one of five $100 Kirkland’s gift cards. The contest ends Nov. 30, so get cracking!
