It looks like most of you come to the website as needed, check your RSS readers or sign up for the emails. As for social media I’ll start focusing more heavily on Instagram, Pinterest and to a lesser extent Pinterest. I’ve been thinking Twitter might be a good channel, but it looks like that’d definitely not the way to go since it falls in the “Other” slice 😉
Majority never use your phone to read my site, but it’s a very, very slight majority indeed 🙂
Most of you don’t follow me on Instagram! So here’s a link to my account, I’ll make it easy for you 😉 Many of you don’t have Instagram at all, that’s ok, to each their own! And for those of you who do follow me on Instagram, the majority of you would like to see more finds. I think I can manage that!
Okay more high vs lows by popular demand. I’ve recently cut back on doing them, so that I’m only doing around a post a day. But I can see here that you guys are missing them, so I’ll try to up those for you! A lot of you want to see more Room Redos, yay! Glad to know you’re liking them. DIY projects have been lacking lately, so I’ll try to up my game there as well as shopping and home tour pictures.
Looks like most of you are A-OK with the way things are. Yay! Awesome to hear. I’ll try to scale back on some of the rest 🙂
As for the format of Copy Cat Chic 90% of you want me to keep it like a blog. So that’s crystal-clear! Most of you said you like the up-close and personal feel of a blog as opposed to a retail website. I completely get that!
I’ve already introduced you to Chelsea Horsley, but now I wanted to explain what exactly her role on the Copy Cat Chic team entails. She’s helping me with the room designs! With her help, we no longer have a waiting list that’s two months long. Whew!
Chelsea Horsley |
We work as a team and, if I do say so myself, a pretty damn good one. It’s amazing how we can combine our ideas to come up with some fabulous room designs. It’s been great having someone to throw ideas at and vice versa. Chelsea has an amazing eye for details and design. Her taste really compliments my own because we both have different strengths.
If you’re interested in having us work on your home or have any questions feel free to contact us at copycatchic ( at ) gmail ( dot ) com or just fill out the design questionnaire here.
Here are some examples of the rooms we’ve worked on together!
Living room & Entryway for $3,500
Boy’s playroom for under $1,500 |
Home office for under $2,000 |
To check out more of Chelsea’s style you can see her home tour on the Stephmodo blog and more of her family life on her blog, Yours Truly.

At the tail end of summer, we decided to fly down to Los Angeles for a week and take a road trip down the coast. We hadn’t planned any major traveling this summer so it was nice to getaway and plan some summer fun! And I’m finally sharing the trip with you guys – I know a bunch of you wanted to know our itinerary and where we visited!
