With the holidays over and all of the Christmas decor packed away, I’m starting to slowly switch gears. The house felt like it was missing something once all the fun holiday decorations came done. So I’ve starting thinking about moving things around and restyling spaces. One easy place to start with is the front door area. First impressions and all right? It makes sense because having a clean and good looking entry really sets the tone. Well our doorway has been pretty neglected these days, so it was about time we paid it a little attention, don’t you think?
I partnered with Kirkland’s because not only do they have amazing prices on pretty much everything, but their tagline is just perfect for this project: “Your Doorway to Home“. I knew they’d be able to help me out for this quickie revamp without doing too much damage to my wallet.
I had a quick minute the other day to tidy it up a bit, so I figured I show you a fast little before and after. So I jumped onto their website and ordered a few items to help me out. I learned my lesson and realized that any sort of plants located in our front entryway were pretty much resigned to being neglected. Sad fact. So with that in mind, I thought it would be nice to get some realistic-looking faux plants to reside there instead. “Realistic” being the key word. Kirkland’s did not disappoint. I’m super impressed with the quality of the faux greenery I ordered. So attractive, so lush, so…easy.
The doormat was big favorite too. Why? Because it was only $10. Pretty fabulous right? And then for a last touch I added some pretty white flowers in the hanging basket. I was sure to go with annuals this time, so I wouldn’t feel too bad when they end up dying 😉
Check out my before and afters below and let me know what you think. Not bad for a couple of hours work, am I right? Thanks Kirkland’s for making it easy on me!
