Happy Christmas Eve! I figured it was about time to post our holiday decor 😉 We’ve been enjoying the holidays unplugged this year, it’s been nice to enjoy life in the moment. I didn’t feel the need rush to get the house picture perfect for Christmas this year, but took the time to slow down and enjoy the season a bit more than usual.[Read more…] about Holiday Home Tour 2019

Our front stoop was looking pretty sad and droopy. I hadn’t really done much with it since we moved in, so I figured it was time to give a lil sprucing up for the holidays! It was about time to make a good first impression. My old doormat was in definite need of a replacement and I feel like it’s not the holidays until a wreath is hanging on the front door, am I right? 🙂

Who gets stumped on stocking stuffers every year? This girl. I always debate with what sort of goodies to put in there. When I was little I always received smaller but substantial gifts in my stocking. My husband’s family took a more practical approach: socks, underwear, toiletries…I like to make sure the stockings have some whimsy in them though, so I like to put things like small toys, games, a sweet or two. I try to limit the the amount of toys we take in though. As you all know they tend to take over if you let them! For the Mr, I like to include a fun toy or two, something he wouldn’t think of buying for himself. And for the women? Well, I think a little pampering is in order.
I recently visited my local World Market, I just love how much variety they have. They really make it so easy for you. They have something for everyone toys to gourmet chocolates. My stocking stuffer shopping is now complete. If only I could say the same for Christmas gifts….

Every holiday season we like to take family photos. I use those photos for ornaments, calendars, cards, books, etc. They make perfect gifts for the family. My parents are super hard to shop for, because they, (like most of us) are trying to pare down. A photo book makes a perfect keepsake and doesn’t take up much room the bookshelf.
