SOURCE LIST

The trim and cabinet have been painted Whale Gray by Benjamin Moore. We’re waiting on new cabinet door hardware, faucet and rug.

As for the LG SideKick, it’s quickly become an integral member of the laundry. My youngest is potty-training right now, so you know what that means: lots of laundry going on. And it helps separate those loads from the rest of our laundry, if you catch my drift 😉

And instead of feeling wasteful and doing a whole full-sized load in the washer every time we run out of undies. I can do smaller sized loads for toddler-sized clothing…any time I need to! It’s SO useful to help do those smaller loads without having to wait for laundry to pile up.

I also like to use it to wash my undergarments. I used to put them all in a netted bag with a regular wash load and hoped for the best. Now I can do a whole separate (and smaller sized) load of delicates. I don’t have to worry about pilling and running like I used to when tossing it in with a regular load. Awesome right?

The LG SideKick washer offers six different wash cycles with different motions, temps, rinse and speeds that really help you pick a cycle that’s exactly what you need. Who knew they could pack some much into such a little package. I think it’s pretty mind blowing when you think about the size of the unit and all it offers.

And for more excitement, you can enter to win an LG SideKick of your own by using the Rafflecopter widget below. Or if you can’t wait, LG is running a promotion where you can purchase an LG front-load washer and LG SideKick starting at $999 until July 13th. The LG SideKick is compatible with any LG front-load washer from 2009.

I would LOVE the LG sidekick mostly because there are many times where I only need a few things washed and don’t have enough to make a whole load of laundry. I have tons of sports bras, gym clothes, swimsuits, etc that need to be washed ASAP that can’t wait till a full load is ready because they will have the funk pretty soon. I need an LG sidekick!

    • Reichel says

      July 9, 2016 at 10:03 pm

Oh yea, the sidekick would be perfect for that!

  13. kyle B. says

We need one of these LG sidekicks! I don’t know how many times we just needed to wash one or two things, not a whole load. Dog leashes, workout clothes, military uniforms…. All of these things that we need washed ASAP but don’t have enough for a full load.

    • Reichel says

      July 9, 2016 at 10:04 pm

Exactly! Why didn’t they think of this sooner? 😉

  14. Danielle says

We love our LG washer & dryer and since first reading about the sidekick a few weeks back I am straight-up obsessed. I showed one to my husband last week at costco and i think he’s on board, too! our lg washer handles delicates and hand-washables well but i always feel like i’m wasting water in the big washer…i can’t wait to try one of these!

I am a single mother of 3. The home im renting doesnt have a washer or dryer. Having an Lg washer and dryer would allow me more time to spend with my children on the weekends rather Than being at the LAUNDROMAT for hours.

I’m sorry the “read more” function isn’t working for you. My daily finds and room redo posts don’t have that enabled. It helps with the longer posts so that people don’t have to load all of the pictures or scroll through a long post if they’re not interested. Thanks for the feedback though, I appreciate it.

Oh, if only you could see the old washing machine I have. It was my mother’s, and it just *loves* to lurch around, off balance. The gray color is lovely, and since the laundry area is off my kitchen (which is gray and white!), the units would coordinate so well.

    Hoping!

The smaller loads thing is great for single people like me, too. It’s a lot for me to fill up a load, so this smalLer guy sounds like a phenomenal idea!

LOVE the neutral gray and white… and that picture! Perfection.
I had to leave my beloved LG he washing machine with my old house when I sold it, so i’ve been dealing with dingy clothes and washing things twice to actually get them clean for too long now. I’m ready to come back, LG! Will you have me?

we try to separate colors, but in some colors we never have enough for a nice sized load, and I hate wasting water. It would also be nice for some of my daughter’s favorite clothes that she likes to wear again and again.
