I just bought TWO of the IKEA version – they are not really sturdy (ie, you get what you pay for). But I love the way they looks with my stacks and stacks of books on them!

thanks for the info ms less. if you're just displaying a collection of light objects, the bookcase doesn't need to be as sturdy, maybe. 🙂

I saw the ones at CB2 and I purchased one of them from IKEA. They aren't as sturdy as I would like, the CB2 version has an "X" support system behind the shelving units, these do not, but could be an easy DIY addition. They are also not as tall as the CB2 version.

they also have them in orange, I really love them. they are on my wish list, but I'm worried that they aren't sturdy enough.

I had two of the shelves from Ikea, but I had to get rid of them. They were too industrial for my taste. Such a shame. Hopefully someone else is now enjoying them. I upgraded to the Ikea Expedit and I love them.
