If paperbacks and knick knacks have your shelves feeling a little lackluster, we’ve got just the thing(s) to brighten them up! Shelf styling can turn into a logic puzzle, but the real key is just to mix it up. Variety keeps each vignette fresh and avoids the matchy-matchy look of using the same pop of color or the same stack of three books on every shelf. When in doubt, finding inspiration images on Pinterest always helps me plan new arrangements. And of course, don’t forget to empty everything out before you start — Marie Kondo would be proud!

I love getting these Daily Finds. If I can make a suggestion, I have a computer background, so make this suggestion as someone who does have a little bit of knowledge about how these pages are coded. It would be so helpful if the photo of the items was the hotlink rather having the reader scroll to the list of numbers and the Number be the hotlink.

Hi Elise,
I agree that would be nice! We use the large collection image when publishing and sharing our blog posts, so I think they’re here to stay until perhaps a future redesign of the blog. But we appreciate your feedback and hope you find the shoppable carousel under the numbers easier to use. Thank you,
Audrey

Wonderful post! A few these pieces will work beautifully for my new glass door cabinet. Can you also share details on the chair in the photo?

Hi Myra,
Thank you! Re: the designer/homeowner’s chair, looks like it’s an Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair.

Something is wrong w/ your latest…I initially tried clocking on 10 (the loungy chaise) and it goes to shelf styling tips. Then I tried other #s and the same thing happens.

Thank you! The photos aren’t linked, but you can shop the items using the numbers below our the carousel of item images.
