I’m starting to feel the travel-bug and I think it’s time for Arden’s first trip! The Mr & I haven’t decided on anywhere in particular, but I’m thinking most likely somewhere in the US and somewhere that is baby newborn-friendly š We were thinking about camping, but I’m thinking a trip with a little less work involved might be in order.

And any suggestions on where to travel with a newborn in tow? Where have you guys vacationed with your little ones?

When I was little, my mom and aunt took me and my cousins to South France. It is my first memory of a vacation.

A newborn is much easier to travel with than a toddler– go now! However, make sure it is somewhere not far from civilization– I have a good friend who took her 6 week old to an island off the coast of NC (not easy to get to) and the baby had a medical emergency and she nearly died before they could get her to medical care. Other than that, have fun!
