Choo Choo Arden Turns Two

Thursday, March 7, 2013

We celebrated Arden's birthday on Sunday. She absolutely loves trains right now, so naturally we did a trained-themed party for her. Luckily there's a miniature train at a park close by, so that made things a little easier. It was also WAY more laid-back than her 1st birthday, which was admittedly, a little over-the-top ;) Luckily it wasn't too cold (or wet) for an outdoor party this year. You can check out my Pinterest board for the party to see all of my sources and inspiration!

The kiddos loved playing in the cardboard train.
AND it made a great photo backdrop!

We handed out little books of train stickers and tickets to ride the mini train as favors.

With Grandpa (Bapa) doing a signature Arden move: "Rawr! Tiger!"
We ordered sandwiches for an easy, no-utensils lunch.

"I'm not sure about all this singing business..."
Ready, set....
BLOWWWW!
"Yum, I love these organic, vegan cupcakes lovingly handmade by my Mommy!" ;)
Time to ride the train!
2nd or maybe 3rd time on the train...with Daddy, Grandma & Grandpa.
Yet another train ride...one of many ;)
