It’s that time again folks! The one and only Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I hope you’re prepared with your Nordstrom credit card so you can get early access. Other than Black Friday, I think this is the only other sale I get truly excited about 😜 I always score so many great deals on great clothing, accessories and home goods that last. In fact, I still have at least six things from this post that I use regularly! And of course most of the items from this post. I know the hype of the sale seems a little crazy, especially if you spend a lot of time on Instagram, but I assure you, it’s worth it!
Here are some great tips for shopping the sale:

Get a Nordstrom credit card so you can access the sale EARLY. Most of the good stuff sells out before it’s even open to the public. Learned that one the hard way!

When in doubt, buy it. Nordstrom makes returns SO easy, so it’s safer to buy now, return later. You don’t want to regret not buying something and have it be sold out 🙁

Make multiple purchases. When an item is in your shopping cart, it’s not on hold. I’ve had it happen in the past where an item sells out before I have a chance to check out. What I do now is make separate purchases by category. This morning I browsed the women’s stuff…purchased, browsed the home stuff…purchased, browsed the kid’s stuff…purchased. You get the picture 🙂

Don’t forget to double your points! If you have early access, that means you have a Nordstrom credit card. And if you have a Nordstrom credit card, you’re part of the Nordy Club. And if you’re part of the Nordy Club you can accrue points. Do yourself a favor and make today your double points day! And just to clarify: points = $

If you live near a Nordstrom store, shop online then pick up your order in-store and get rewarded with $10! And you can do another shopping sesh while you’re there – sometimes it’s just easier to shop in person. You’ll probably notice things that you wouldn’t have online. So I guess that’s 2 tips for the price of one 😉
