So after my big announcement yesterday, I figured it was a good time to re-evaluate the directions this blog is taking. I’ve been pretty regular about listing my Chic Finds but I’ve been debating on adding more of this and less of that. BUT I’d like your input on this. I’d like to see what is important to you guys and give you more!
So please take a minute or two and help a sister out 😀 Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!
I’ll be sharing the results with you guys next week. Thanks for playing!
**Whoops – Guess my free Polldaddy account only accepts a certain number of responses, bummer! OK, well for those of you who’d like to add, I guess, just leave a comment? Sorry about that!!! 😉 **

I tried to complete the survey but no matter how many times I submit, it doesnt seem to take it. I hope its coming thru on your end.
PS: Love the blog – whatever you want to post about, I'd be happy to read.

Ditto – Love the blog though. More baby talk will be fun! But I love the CCC finds the best! A few photos of your homefront would be fun too!

I think your site is great BECAUSE of the chic finds and reader requests. I think that's what attracted people in the first place and differentiates your site from other sites. I don't want to see that decreased. I love seeing them! I like them daily if you can do it. I'd love hearing about baby stuff too but don't want to lose the initial content that drew me to you.

I tried to make a reader request the other day, and it automatically took me to a PayPal page to pay $100. I thought you could donate only if you wanted your request to go to the top of your list (and even then…$100?!). Is there a way to request without going through PayPal?

Please no baby talk. This blog is called copy cat chic. If you want to talk about your baby, have a section of this blog called baby cat chic or something, sot hat your early-mid twenties readers can stay away.

I love the chic finds! More of those are always welcome. I'd like to hear about the baby and nursery and inexpensive finds in that regard. Thanks!

More baby talk, please! I'm also expecting my first and would love to learn what you find. Love the blog as is though!

1. I check in daily to see what you've found. 2. I'd like to see CCCs every day (or every weekday, realistically). 3. I'd like to see more designer room redos. 4. I like the amount of your personal life that you include and wouldn't increase or decrease that. Any more and I think it will no longer be a design blog…it's almost like you'd be reverting to a family update blog. 5. I'd like to hear about the baby only as it relates to design…ie decorating the nursery. Of course, it's nice to have a few updates (like "hey I'm pregnant", "and hey it's a girl", and "hey I had the baby"). I agree with the other commenter who said if you want to expand on that, make it a different part of the blog. I'd definitely read that, though, too!!

I check in daily and love the CCC's and would like to see as many as you can find. I don't come here for baby talk, I come for design and decorating tips (on a budget). Incorporating ideas on how to use the CCC finds would be super cool.

I'd agree with Tobi but I'd probably enjoy a bit more personal life and baby info but I also like to feel like we are best friends because I'm freaky scary like that. 🙂

No matter WHAT you add–baby stuff, home pics, whatev—I'm going to keep coming back because I love your finds. I think you are a thrifty genius and I love CCC!

I enjoy your blog as it is and would be happy to read a greater quantity of the same. But I come here because it's a design blog, not a baby blog. Obviously having a baby will influence your thoughts, plans, and rooms, and I'll be happy to see your thoughts on meeting those challenges. But I suggest keeping the actual baby updates in a separate stream so that readers like me can ignore them easily (and readers who have more interest in babies can find them easily!).

the copy cat chic are what attracted me to your blog in the first place. Please don't decrease that. I liked the suggestion about having a separate baby copy cat chic section, for baby finds or any other baby talk. you know those shows they used to have on HGTV, Simply Chic and Double Take, if you did a Copy Cat chic for whole rooms or whatever, that would be really cool too…but that might be time-consuming or whatever…just definitely don't lose the Copy Cat chic aspect of your blog…I totally enjoy it the best 🙂
