CCC Nursery | Colors & Fabrics Galore
>> Tuesday, October 26, 2010
OK folks, as promised! Here's my initial color and fabric choices for the little birdie's nursery :)
Here's the breakdown clockwise from the top left:
Organic White Linen for the custom crib bedding
Dutch Boy Refresh Paint: Elegant White DW37 & Fountain Blue E7-1
Williams Sonoma Home Black & White Striped Rug (no longer available on their website)
Robert Allen Vintage Plumes Fabric in Jade also for the custom crib bedding
Working on getting the walls painted and the bedding ordered. Here's what the room looks like right now...yikes. Do I have my work cut out for me or what? ;)
At least most of the office furniture is now out of the room and in storage. As you can see it still has the old paint & drapes. By the way, anyone interested in buying some Pottery Barn Velvet Drapes in Wheat (50"x84")? lol.

I love the fabrics you picked out! That vintage plumes fabric is gorgeous, and I really like that you went for a muted, not in-your-face BABY color scheme. Can't wait to see how it comes together!
I know you don't want to go overboard on the peacocks, but here is a link to a silvery finish peacock lamp and black shade from Horchow:

It is regularly $322.00 and on sale for $95.00. Pretty good price for Horchow.
This is so pretty - I love the blue paint color! And I am also in love with that dwellstudio fabric, am seriously thinking about splurging on roman shades in that fabric from The Shade Store..
I love your choices!
But I'm dying to know, what's the rug that's in there right now?
The rug is FAB!
How exciting! We picked up almost the same exact paint color combo over the weekend, lol. It's been a slow process, we still have to get rid of all the furniture in the room. Can't wait to see how everything turns out :)
Can not wait to see the end result. Excited for you!
I'm also interested in the drapes! How many panels?
The room's going to be gorgeous--love your pattern and color choices.
FYI - the fabric you selected is available on Fabrics.com

Thanks for all of the compliments! I can't wait to see how the paint turns out. I'll keep you all updated!
As for all of you interested in the drapes feel free to email me at copycatchic (at) gmail if you're interested!
@Sarah - I saw that lamp! I'm tempted...I already have an idea for a lamp & shade, but if it doesn't pan out, I'm so getting that lamp! lol
@Becky - The rug in the pictures is the Williams Sonoma Home Rug I have on my design board!
@Courtneyoutloud - Thanks for the heads up :)
Love it! This will be so soothing for both you and little one. Can't wait to see it all come together.
