Lucite Love
Thursday, July 31, 2008
I just recently got a reader request from Granny Smith Green. She's looking for a cheap simple round acrylic dining table. What a challenge! I haven't been that successful at finding tables that actually have their prices listed (?!) Oh well, forging on...I did find some fun options:
When I think of a smaller acrylic dining tables, this is what comes to mind:
The Portofino dining table from Spectrum Limited Collection. Now although the website doesn't list the price, I'm pretty sure it's out of the budget.
Here's another one of my faves from Muniz Plastics.

The Paris Apartment also has a pedestal lucite option that looks pretty similar to the Spectrum table above...well it would if it wasn't so pixelated :)
Once I broadened the search to include tables that weren't 100% acrylic, it was a little easier to find prices listed...yeay!When I think of a smaller acrylic dining tables, this is what comes to mind:

$449 from Idea HomeTop is acrylic and base is chrome
Great look at an even better price!
This chrome & glass option for only $279 from CB2 sounds like a better bet to me though. I like the table base better than the Idea Home one above.
This one from Lumisource is pretty classy too, although they don't have a price listed...of course.
Or you could go for the glass version I found it at Target for a bargain price of only $149.99. Can't beat that!
Swoon...getting a little off subject here, but you just have to love this designer lucite desk from Craig Van Den Brulle. If I knew the price it would probably make me swoon for sure!
And for honorable mention, the truly unique Grand Illustion Table from Questo Design $335.15.To sum it up though, I haven't been that successful finding cheaper priced lucite tables....Any of you have any suggestions?
