We have the cutest little reading nook in our house on the second floor landing. After putting the kids down at night, I like to lay there and read a bit while I wait for them to settle down for the night. It’s such a great spot and has a nice view of the surrounding hills. It’s also a great little perch for watching the sun set. I’m not the only one who loves to sit there though, Arden loves curling up there with a good book too. In fact I often find open books propped just so…in fact the book in these pictures was left there by her and I figured I’d leave it for the photos!
