Who’s ready for Spring and Summer? I love white planters and look so fresh this time of year, here are my favorite picks to help you transition to the new season.
Do you have a green thumb or like me with a faux ficus tree? Go get yourself one of these cute planters and no one will notice your faux plant!

Move over, millennial pink, we’re making room for the season’s trendiest happy-go-lucky color craze – ochre! This fun hue is a great way to transition your home from summer to fall. It’s warm without being too sunny and adds an earthy touch of spice to your space. I’m especially loving this color in texture-rich accents like the round velvet pillow (#3) or the yarn wall hanging (#10).
I’m all over ways of making life easier (and better!). I went through a crazy plant buying spree a couple of months ago and it was amazing. BUT can I just tell you how much upkeep it all is? Watering, dusting, feeding, re-potting. Not to mention the infestation of gnats I got from a palm I bought. Yikes. So lately, I’ve been staring longingly at faux plants and greenery. Faux greens are such a controversial subject in the home design world. What do you guys think? Are you for? Or against? Personally? I like a good mix of both. In the past I’ve been solidly against fake plants, but there’s a new crop of great faux greens on the market and it makes ALL the difference. I found a few favorites over at World Market, so I thought it would be the perfect time to work in a Home Trends post for you all!
