I treated myself to a cashmere sweater from Haute Look, got the Mr a sweater, dress shirt and cast iron grill pan from Rue La La, bought Arden soft bamboo blankies from Gilt and got the casa the most stuff of all:

Bamboo towels, a faux fur throw, wicker trunks from the Foundary, rock on.

But my most favorite score of the week??? A new headboard from Joss & Main!

I figured we’d been living with a Cal King Bed and Queen-sized headboard for long enough. I actually just sold the queen headboard a couple of days ago. Boy did we miss having it though, I just love having a soft padded headboard to lean against when reading playing on the iPad before bedtime. The Mr and I were considering some headboards from HSN or Sears and even a DIY version. But what did my eyes see this morning when doing the rounds on my favorite daily sample sales sites? Yep, that’s right headboards galore and even in the right size: Cal King. Fate I tell you 🙂

We ended up going with the Glitz Notched Headboard, a great shape and covered in a metallic linen. How glam does that sound? All for the low price of $350. Needless to say I’m pretty excited to get our new headboard, hopefully it doesn’t take too long to ship! Our master bedroom needs some help, it’s been going through some major transitions lately. I think I need to come up with a CCC room design for it 😉

Oh and the one that got away? This gorgeous baby quilt from John Robshaw on One Kings Lane…sigh. Isn’t it adorable? It would have fit perfectly in Arden’s nursery and it was only $60. It’s the perfect amount of vintage and cuteness without being too matchy-matchy with everything else in the nursery. Oh well, I wish One Kings Lane had a wait list function like Gilt :
