Who’s starting think about their outdoor spaces? I know I am! Our backyard is looking pretty rustic right now because of ALL. THE. RAIN. here in Northern California. And actually we’re still in for more April showers, but I’m not letting that stop me from enjoying the sunny days we have scattered here and there. Our yard is still very much a work in progress, but I’m mulling things over and brainstorming on ideas. One thing I know for sure? We’re sticking with black and white. Simple, timeless and classic. I partnered World Market to bring you some of my favorite outdoor pieces. They have such a great selection of outdoor decor and furniture for such a great price AND in my color palette 😉

I spent the last few days in the real life daydream that is Marfa, Texas and I am not kidding when I say I really thought I might stay forever. There’s something about that high desert vibe that really speaks to the depths of my soul, and of course it gave me an excuse to wear ALL THE FRINGE. My best friend and I stayed at the very hip El Cosmico, and yes we rode Beyonce’s bike around the parking lot with a flat tire. We also stayed in a teepee the first night, which was really something special…also, something that may be helpful for you to note is to bring several pairs of shoes so that you never run out of things you can use to smash spiders. Also, leggings and shirts with elastic wristbands.
All that to say, I have a very real need to bring more Marfa into my life as quickly as possible and this lush, cheerful patio feels so right. Falsa blankets and Acapulco chairs for everyone! And if you can believe this–I found that exact vintage pouf on Etsy AT A REASONABLE PRICE POINT. Marfa is magic, y’all.
