Halloween is just around the corner. I have to admit I’m not the best at getting my home “fall ready” but I do love jumping aboard the Halloween train. This year the kids were all about Harry Potter – I love it! So we decided to go all out with a Harry Potter themed entryway. I partnered with World Market on the post because of their huge selection of Halloween decor and goodies – Not only do they have all types of Halloween decor for the inside and out, they even have Halloween food and beverages. Way to make it easy for us World Market!

Today I’m teaming up with Marshalls to surprise three of my Pinterest followers w a box full of Marshalls products – that I selected based off their Pinterest board. When Marshalls approached me to be a part of the their “Pin Pals” campaign, I was pretty excited. I find it so fun shopping for others. It really gets you in the “holiday spirit”, am I right? The scariest part of Halloween is the thought of my house starting to look like a cheesy party supply store. I want my décor to look festive without throwing off the aesthetic of my home and Halloween is one of those holidays where that can be a challenge! So after much searching, I’m excited to reveal 16 sleek and stylish items that will add the perfect touch of Halloween spook to your home. Warning: you might be tempted to leave them out year-round!
Don’t have the best luck with Pinterest projects? Don’t worry, this decorative pumpkin is already painted black matte.
Every home needs a serving tray. The black finish works great for Halloween and will go with everything.
We’re halfway through September and I’m really starting to feel the Halloween vibes. Time bring in dark and moody. What do you guys think? Are you ready? I think Halloween is the perfect opportunity to play with your decor a little bit and step out of your comfort zone. I thought it would be fun to walk on the vintage industrial side this fall. Not only is it a fun decor trend, but it fits right in for Halloween time!
I partnered with Kirkland’s to showcase their vintage industrial inspired decor. They have quite a hearty collection right now and it’s just so reasonably priced. It’s hard to resist 😉 ALSO another fun fact: Kirkland’s is celebrating their 50th anniversary! Featuring them as my #FiveforFifty partner is just plain perfect.

We’ve already had quite a bit of fun with some preschool Halloween trunk or treating. Here’s a little glimpse of my set up. BTW – the dry ice was a HUGE hit with that crowd 😉

I took a copper beaded runner that I usually use for Christmas or Thanksgiving and paired it with some new rose-gold flatware. I used dark espresso wood accents and paired the candler holders with black candles for a more dramatic look. I used some old birds nests we pulled out of some bushes in our backyard along with the sheet moss I bought from Lowe’s – love how the two add some much texture.
