I’m feeling all nostalgic today. Why? Because I found my old record collection from when I was a kid! I even have my old, tan fisher price record player (who remembers those?), too bad it sounds awful! It’s been through a lot, so I figured I’d retire that monster and get myself a new one. They really make a ton of really good-looking record players aka turntables these days! Vinyl is so hipster, who knew?? This black-and-white plaid one from Walmart really stood out to me – kind of kitschy, but in a cool way 😉
After deciding on what record player I wanted…I HAD to take a look-see at Walmart’s vinyl selection. They have so. many. records! And fun ones at that! I had to add to my old Disney record collection and buy the latest Lion King soundtrack and bonus points? The record is white! I don’t know about you, but I only had plain ole’ black records when I was a kid…guess they come in all colors of the rainbow now.
It’s been pretty fun listening to all of our modern favorites in record form. The kids beg to listen to records pretty much every day and I’m so down with that. Can’t wait to bust out my old Chimpmunk’s Christmas album!
