Ack! Halloween is this week? Are you ready? I’m just now switching into Halloween mode. I’m kind of thinking I should start decorating for Halloween in July when most bloggers are these days! LOL It is my favorite holiday…might as well prolong it as much as I can right? Maybe next year 😉

This year, I wanted to show you my simple and easy Halloween table. I found a few table top items at Walmart that I thought would work great for a Halloween set up BUT also really work well year-round. I love being able to use items longer than just one season, don’t you?
Walmart has a great selection of flatware, dishes, serving items…and of course Halloween decorations too. I bought these really great black speckled ceramic plates that work perfectly for these skull plates that I had in my “party stash”. Here’s a similar looking skull plate though, so you can get the same look.
Most of my table linens are black-and-white, so it’s fun to mix and match the different patterns and they work perfectly for a Halloween table! Same with my black flatware (similar)!
These throw pillows are my new favorite – kind of an upgrade from your standard buffalo check. I’m really loving plaid right now for Fall and Winter! So you’ll be seeing more of it in the future 😉
I used some black-and-white artwork that my daughter made in art class – they channeled my decor theme perfectly! Love when that happens. And then to top it all off, a really cute, inexpensive Halloween bat garland.
Effortless, easy and fun – just the way I like my holiday decor!
