Ever since coming home from our trip to Waikiki, I’ve been daydreaming about our our hotel room at the Modern Honolulu. I decided it was time for a little master bedroom update of our own. As you saw from the No Makeup Home Tour, our cal king bed takes up pretty much our whole bedroom! It’s definitely a smaller room than our last master, that’s for sure. I think our new bedroom calls for a queen sized bed – That way we can fit TWO nightstands instead of just one 😉
While I was browsing around I stumbled upon RCWilley. Their bed selection is pretty robust, with a lot of reasonably priced bed frames and headboards. I’m definitely adding them as one of my favorites resources. It always pays to keep your eyes open! When working with a budget, saving money on a quality bed is always appreciated. Here are some of my favorites all for UNDER $800!
one | two | three | four | five | six | seven | eight
nine | ten | eleven | twelve | thirteen | fourteen | fifteen | sixteen
I’m still trying to narrow down the style of bed I want….wood, upholstered, metal…so many choices! Channel tufted beds are so huge right now too, but I do love a good wood frame. It’s just so hard to decide. Which one is your favorite?
Also, for the fun of it, I figured I’d show you some of my favorite inspiration rooms…all so lovely.

Hi! Not sure if the walls in your master bedroom were already that color when you moved in or if you had a chance to paint. Do you happen to know the color?
