Spring is a fickle friend when it comes to weather, but we’ve had a couple of great warm weather days lately which inspired this post. Last weekend we decided to hit the beach for a simple beach picnic for Mother’s Day. Also, I love me some rides, so I thought a trip to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was in order! Perfect way to celebrate in my opinion.
I wanted to work with World Market because they have a great boho, beachy vibe going on with some of their outdoor products, so it seemed like the perfect collaboration. We went to brunch locally first and then got in the car and hit the beach for a light lunch. Everything you see is from World Market, even the food and drinks. Love how easy it is to get everything you need in one store.
I stepped up the picnic vibe with a couple of macramé pillows and World Market even has a macramé cooler tote! Also loving their new mudcloth inspired napkins – picked up a bunch of those to use. This giant cutting board comes in super handy as a makeshift picnic table!
The weather was perfect warm with pockets of clouds to make it not too hot and not too cold. Definitely thinking this should be a new tradition in the making!
