To find out more the Clek website has this handy comparison chart.
We loved Conrad’s Fllo so much that we decided to upgrade Arden to a Clek as well. We have two cars and in order to make things a little easier we figured we should have at least three carseats. So when I saw a deal on Amazon for a Clek Foonf I jumped on it and got Arden a pink one 😉 She was absolutely thrilled.
I was a tad worried about the pink color because Arden climbs up into her seat herself which means lots of shoe action going on. The fabric is removable, but isn’t machine washable so it needs to be spot cleaned. And you know what? I haven’t had to clean it, not even once! Shocking, right? That green guard Crypton fabric is magic, I tell you.
Oh and did I mention how much happier Conrad is in his Fllo? It’s so much easier buckling him in now. He loves being up high and seeing everything. They can even hold hands now 😉 Love it. Here area few pictures of them in their new car seats.
And just so you can get a better idea of how the fit, here’s a few pictures of the car seats without the littles.
We have a Toyota Prius V by the way, and you can see how much room there is. If need be, I can sit in between the two car seats with a seat belt on too!
You can see the height differences in the two seats really well here. Keep in mind that the headrest on Arden’s Foonf is set higher to accommodate her height.
We are super happy with our new Clek car seats and they really work so much better for us. The Clek car seats are definitely an investment, but I think it’s worth it. With their combination of eco-friendliness, safety features and great design – it’s just one of those things I’m willing to spend a little more on. I’d love to know what features you guys were most interested in when buying carseats for your children! And who out there has tried a Clek? What did you guys think?

How old is Arden and how much does she weigh/height? She is still happy riding RF? I'm planning to keep Kaitlyn RF as long as possible. I really want to get the Foonf too, but we already have a Pria and a lightweight travel one, and my husband thinks I'm crazy. lol

Arden's 3.5 and she's 38 inches and almost 40 lbs. And she's never ridden forward facing, so she doesn't know any better 😉 Maybe you can get the Foonf and sell the Pria?

I've heard they don't recommend leaving jackets (especially puffy ones) on while on a car seat, as this could make parents loosen up the straps for comfort but, in case on an accident, the puffer would compress and the straps would be too loose.
We live in So Ca so we rarely ever wear jackets, I didn't pay much attention to the article, but the picture of your little boy reminded me.
Might be something to look into.

I also have a Prius V and am thinking about getting the Fllo for my toddler. How much room do the front passengers have with the seats installed RF? My husband is very tall (6'5") but usually does the driving, so we could put the Fllo behind the passenger. Is there enough space for a moderately tall (5'8") passenger's knees to fit comfortably? Thanks!
Reichel Broussard says
It's pretty tight RF I must say. We don't have the Prius V anymore, but from what I remember, my husband had a hard driving with it and he's 6'.

We ended up getting the Fllo (I asked the question you responded to) and are very happy with it. I can fit comfortably in the passenger seat and my giraffe of a husband can fit in the passenger seat too, albeit not comfortably, in case I need to drive. Our toddler loves the seat too! I wish we had gotten one months ago.

That's great! Good to hear it works out! Yes we're still super happy with ours.

Would you say the driver's seat can go back further with the Fllo than the Foonf because it is shorter in the Prius v? I'm 6ft and have a Prius v. I would like to go all the way back in the drivers seat. Thanks
Reichel Broussard says
I'd say it goes back a little further, but not enough that you could have the seat all the way back in a Prius V :

Do you prefer one seat over the other? I am having a hard time deciding between the two. We have an Audi Q5, and will probably install behind the passenger seat. I am worried about the blind spot with the foonf, but worried about getting the right recline with the fllo (baby is 8 months/22 lbs).

I think I like the Foonf slightly better. You're not there yet, but the rigid latch system is AMAZING. 🙂
