You all might remember my black Christmas tree from last year. Well, this year I teamed up with Treetopia again and decided to go the opposite route. A white tree! I chose this beautiful Whisper White Cashmere Tree.
Isn’t it fun? I just love how the ornaments pop off of that snow, white backdrop. You know how much I love contrast 😉 Like last year, I went with a mix of metallics and used most of the same ornaments. It’s a little more minimalist than last year, but I think, just as elegant.
Here’s a close up of the ends of the tree branches. They have this delicate, snowflake effect that makes the tree look soft and luxurious. I’d describe it as halfway between flocked and bare. A great compromise.
The tree is a narrow one, which makes it perfect for our playroom or any small space. Our regular tree topper looked too top-heavy, so I improvised by using a star-shaped candle holder. The only thing it’s missing is a light. Maybe I’ll try sticking a candle on top? 😉
Now I just need to wrap those gifts! It’s looking a little naked under there 🙂

Very pretty! Re the lighting of the star, why not consider running a single light to it with its own off 'n on switch. (Similar to that which you sometimes see in an artificial pumpkin or in Christmas Village displays that often consist of a standard night-light bulb.) -Brenda-
