Hi All! I am so excited to be sharing my first room redo post with you all here on CCC – I hope you enjoy the post as much as I loved preparing it! – meg
I have been so inspired by this master bedroom project from
Emily Henderson & Curbly since Emily shared it with us this past fall. The
moody navy velvet tufted bed with classic white linens and that combo of
pillows paired with the calm white walls is such an inviting combination – it
makes me want to curl up with a good book on my kindle and read for hours
(anyone else trying to finish Divergent before the movie comes out?). Campaign chests are here to stay for a long
while – maybe you’ll get lucky and find
some on your local craigslist that just need a good coat of paint, or you can
take a note out of Jenny’s book and DIY your own for a few bucks. A
budget-friendly project paired with those amazingly glam (but still masculine)
lamps is another winning combo. And Emily really strikes the nail on the head
with that amazing chandelier (find hers here) – ditching the shades to show off
the piece’s clean lines is pure genius – I would do the same with the
chandelier below. Add in a natural rug with a hint of glam, a spot to perch at the
end of the bed and some cozy accessories to round it out and you’ve got a
winning combination that is truly a master escape for one lucky couple. I hope
you like this room as much as I do!

Where's the rug from? The link takes me to a pillow.
Meghan says
Hi Nancy! So sorry about that, I just fixed the link so now it should be correct. The rug is from Joss & Main and can be found right here: http://www.copycatchic.com/2014/04/copycatchic-room-redo-moody-master.html Hope that helps!
