One thing I’ve been noticing a lot of lately is reader requests. There were a couple of comments on the survey from readers who would love for reader requests to be opened back up. While I won’t be taking on reader requests (on a paid basis), I will be organizing them on my brand new Keep Reader Request Board.
So from now on you can email me all of your requests and I’ll post them on my request board. That way I can remember them and you guys can see them as well! If you ever happen to see a cheaper option of a reader request, feel free to comment on the product and help us all out!
Oh and just a side note, if you email me a reader request, I most likely won’t respond to each and every one. Rest assured, I’ve most likely have seen it. I just don’t have time these days to respond to every email. I wish I could, but it’s hard with amount of emails I receive daily. If you’re anxious to see if I’ve received your request, check my Keep board and see if your product has been added. I’ll also add a hashtag with your name (#FirstLast), unless you specify otherwise. That way you’ll be able to find your product (and any cheaper alternatives posted by others) easily.
Now, let’s talk about Keep.com. I’m very excited to be a brand new curator and “keeper”. I just created my account yesterday! You might have heard of Keep already from Jenny, that’s where I first heard of it. It’s very similar to Pinterest but I like the fact the interface is fresh, sleek and just a little more hip. I also think it has the potential to be more organized. I like Jenny’s idea of sourcing products on Keep and using Pinterest for inspiration. I need some major help in the organization department, that’s for sure, so I’m looking forward to a fresh start!
Come and join me on Keep and let me know if you already have an account, I’d love to find some more people to follow!
