Happy Halloween!

I hope you all are having a happy Halloween! We dressed Arden up as a polar bear, she looks so cozy and cuddly, I die! AND to top it off, she loves wearing her costume. So adorable πŸ™‚

We had a cute little toddler Halloween party last Sat, so it was madness cuteness all around! SO. MUCH. FUN. We’re definitely going to have to make it a Halloween tradition.

Here’s a shot of the treats table as I was setting it up, so not complete yet, but you guys get the picture πŸ˜‰

Mr. Crow on his perch.
Added some burlap to the ceiling pendant above the dining room table.
A fun Halloween bouquet.

I made mini pumpkin pie bites. They were sooo yummy!

I also made vegan mini pumpkin chocolate chip cupcakes. I think I need to practice my frosting skills, hahaha. But they tasted good, that’s what counts right? πŸ˜‰

I also attempted to make these mini “pumpkin” cheese balls that I found on Pinterest. Can’t win ’em all πŸ˜‰

We had (the very addicting) Pirate’s Booty for the mini monsters.

Solo now makes “to go” cups with lids that make perfect sippy cups for the little ones. And I bought these birch paper straws to go with them.

We had fall beer for the adults as well as some “Vampire Punch” which turned out tart and yummy.
And some “spooky” juice for kids.

We also set up a photobooth for everyone to be able to take a family picture with the babies in their costumes. Of course the Mr. and I were having so much fun at the party running around and chatting that we totally forgot to take a picture with all three of us, sigh.

  • photo by btwashburn So your kids are going to summer camp, they’re excited, you’re excited...but before the fun begins, we have to pack those bags first ;) I've been packing my kids for overnight camp for about five years now, so I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve. The camp's packing lists usually cover the basics but most parents like to go a little bit beyond that. A quick browse on google for packing lists can be quite intimidating with pictures of Pinterest-worthy camp trunks, but...
