Why, oh why are good looking and COMFORTABLE nursery gliders and rockers so expensive? I still have yet to figure it out. Believe me I’ve tried, especially since I’m on the hunt for a good looking (smaller-scale) rocker for the nursery. I’m was going to go the all wood antique route, but now I’m doubting myself. I really think I should get something more comfy…sigh. The search continues.

I'm dying to know the same thing….basically every time I look for one I find one more expensive than the last one I looked at!! It's kind of making me crazy! If you find any additional gliders, I'd love to see the chic finds!! I've seen a million beautiful and comfy looking gliders over $1000, but I'd love to find one under $300. I'm a bit space challenged too. And….from everyone I've chatted with – comfy is key! Will be sure to email if I come across something too!!!

We bought the Costco.com Double Cushion gingham glider and ottoman for $499 (for both!) for our second daughter's room. Costco.com sent a swatch so I could make sure the sage gingham was a good color. It isn't as comfortable as our other glider that has a higher back but, it was a bargain and serves it's purpose without breaking the bank!

This is currently out of stock on overstock, but I have it in my youngest child's nursery and love it. I dont know if it will come back in stock, but you can sign up for an alert if it does.
It is quite comfortable and the back is high enough it does support your head while you are feeding the baby and dozing off in the middle of the night.
