Is this really the same size as the more expensive one though? It seems like the $300 one on the "cheap" site is more similar to the subject

If you're looking for an even BIGGER version of this chandelier, look no further than The Nature Company. They have a 45",50" and 70" diameter version for a relatively low price considering its humongous size.

these are not equal comparisons as the cheaper one is only a 10" and the one from Viva Terra's small one is 13". In lighting, that is a huge difference in size. Even a size jump to the large (21") doubles it's price.

PB now has one for $200. It's 15" in diameter. You could hard-wire it so you can use it as an actual chandelier:
