I am in LOVE with Pottery Barn’s Hudson Bed. The headboard is just the right height and the footboard is perfect. I came across your website while searching for a different discontinued item on PB’s website, and figured it was worth a shot to ask if you’ve come across anything similar to this bed for less 🙂 THANKS!! 🙂~ Kristan

Now I have to admit the Target bed is in a little darker finish and isn’t quite has high as the Pottery Barn bed. BUT the lines are so similar, I still thought it was a great option. I know Walmart’s Canopy collection has a similar bed, but it’s a sleigh bed… Let me know if you guys have found any other options!

Bassett furniture Chatham panel bed is closer. Bassett has cheaper versions of alot if pottery barn furniture styles and personally I like bassetts quality better!!

Have you thought about having one made? I picked two different ones out of the pottery barn catalog and my wonderful husband took what I liked from each bed and built it for me.

We too love the look of the Hudson bed. For all the items we wanted it priced out over $6000 at PB. We search for some time and found the Porter set by Ashley: http://www.ashleyfurniturehomestore.com/Catalog/product.aspx?collection=Porter&id=B697B11. For king panel bed, dresser, mirror, chest and two nightstands it was a few dollars over $3000.
We went with the panel bed that looks most like the Hudson, but they also offer a sleigh storage bed. The dresser, et al are not as close to the Hudson series but thats ok as we thought, other than the bed, the Hudson was a little too country for our liking.

King sized authentic PB Hudson for $899 at DownEast Home – beautiful and built like a tank – they have a Cali King for $600ish – but DE is only in Utah.
