I too, absolutely love the clean lines of the modern sofa. And the tufting? Makes it look soooo comfy, don’t you think? I love the picture above, it shows the soft tufting of the sofa combined with a lush faux fur rug, rich zebra wood and a sparkle of steel. Gorgeous.

I am always so eternally impressed with your genius finds! (The expanding JC Penny dining table has really got me thinking about replacing the one my parents gave us.) I've got one for ya, I've been looking everywhere and I just don't have the sneaky resources you've got, hehe.
Crate & Barrel's McIntyre Sofa. I especially love the charcoal gray color! High square back and arms, tight back (now that's a MUST for me) with some extra pillows for cuddling… the only thing it's missing from my dream sofa checklist is a nailhead trim, and that can be added by yours truly… but finding it for less than what they're asking has been such a chore, and all my resources are spent! Any suggestions? Otherwise, I'll be forced to starve myself and my husband until we can afford to replace his grody old college sleeper sofa!

I have also been eying the Gus Modern Spencer sofa, and loved the less expensive version! I was so disappointed that Scandinavian Designs are only located in California and Colorado! (I'm in Brooklyn)
