Happy Christmas Eve!

Hope all of you are enjoying your Christmas Eve! Here are a few pics from the Copy Cat Household!

I went with a robin’s egg blue theme this year…to match with the living room walls 🙂 There are a lot of bird and peacock feather accents as well.

You can’t really see it that well in this picture, but I hung this gorgeous vintage looking garland from Etsy seller: MilkpodStudio on the fireplace. I absolutely love it!

I haven’t found a good tree topper yet…sigh. I searched high and low! I finally ordered this one from Wisteria, but it’s not coming in time for this year 😉

I took the trimmed branches from the Christmas tree and hung them on the dining room chandelier and the fireplace mantle. I also made reindeer ornaments from wine corks. I got the idea from an Etsy seller, but of course I can’t find ’em anymore on the website.

I made these ornaments by buying a flannel shirt from the Goodwill and wrapping squares around some plain glass ball ornaments from Michael’s. I got the original idea from Eddie Ross, but made them a little bit differently than he did.

I also made custom stockings from Goodwill sweaters! Aren’t they cute?

And last but not least, my absolute favorite Christmas piece this year: a handmade tie tree skirt. Made with 32 ties from, where else?…the Goodwill. It doesn’t go all the way around…yet! I think I’ll add more ties each year 🙂 I got the idea from Etsy seller: FromEveryday2NewLove.
