Reichel R. Broussard
FOUNDER & EDITOR
I’ve always loved home decor magazines, growing up I remember raiding my Mom's Better Homes and Garden's magazines and tearing out pictures of the rooms I liked. It drove her crazy! :) I've combined my love of home design and my love for all things tech related into a career.
My previous jobs have included working in design and marketing; ranging from marketing at a clothing company to working in the creative department for Pottery Barn. I currently freelance on different creative projects as well as offer style advice and interior design services focusing on lower budgets, but high style. On top of all that I also take the time out to contribute to my blog Copycat Chic.
My husband and I bought our first home a few years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area. In order to afford the high mortgage, we've learned to budget and bargain hunt! When not working, I scoured the internet for sales, closeouts and bargains in order to make our house into a home...on the cheap. I started finding so many deals that I couldn't help but share them with everyone else. And that's how Copy Cat Chic was born!
We just recently moved to the Silicon Valley, just South of San Francisco and are renting an out-dated 60's ranch house that belongs to the family. We're doing our best to make cost-effective updates to the house all the while trying to save up to buy our next home.
Other hobbies include riding horses and swimming. The Mr. and I also have a huge interest in living an eco-friendly lifestyle. We eat pretty much all organic and I'm currently transitioning from vegetarian to vegan.
Arden was born on March 1st, 2011.
Conrad was born on November 22nd, 2013 (one day after Mom's birthday!).

I'm Chelsea Horsley, mother to twin babies and a toddler. Second to them, (okay third, because let's not forget I'm happily married:), I'm emphatic and passionate about creating a beautiful space for us to live in, always have been. Because my husband is still in school, and we haven't won the lottery just yet, this has always needed to be done on a small budget. Whether our home was in the Caribbean, Utah, or most recently, Michigan, stores like Home Goods, Target, Ikea have been wonderful to me. Not to mention the countless (and endless!) sources on the web. I blog here, about my family life. It's the best of what goes on in the Horsley Home, a lot of which are my kids, mixed in with great home design, good food, and style. I don't hold much back, so you can really get to know me:)
My home was also recently featured on Stephmodo, LMNOP, Baby Space, and The Odessa May Society. Hopefully you'll read, if not notice, how it really is designed on a tight budget, and I love that these stylish bloggers noticed that and chose to highlight the fact. It's not always better if you pay more!
Hey guys! I'm Lindsey and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Copy Cat Chic team. I live in Austin, Texas, where I spend my time eating breakfast tacos and renovating my new home with my man Jake and our useless cat Panda. I hold a degree in advertising from the University of Texas (hook em!) and, as a former art director, I believe that designing our homes is less about making something pretty and more about creating a beautiful and meaningful reflection of who we are, regardless of our budgets. I'm a huge fan of using DIY projects to create that feeling of affordable luxury in my own home, so whether I'm picking out a kitchen backsplash or building a chandelier for my dining room, my happy place usually involves power tools and a paint brush. I love nothing more than a great bargain, and I'm looking forward to sharing some of my tips and tricks for getting a look you love without breaking the bank. You can find me over at my blog, Lindsey Does, or say hi on Instagram at @holalindsey
