This dining space by Blackband Design is a modern-rustic dream come true. If this were in my home I’d certainly be the first to claim that cozy banquette for coffee each morning. The zinc-topped table adds a nice industrial edge that balances the warmth of the woven chairs, bamboo window shades, and rope chandelier. The large-scale piece of art certainly makes a splash though, and it works so well with the patterned curtains. What lucky clients to have such a beautiful space to enjoy each day!
This hip living room featured on Homepolish caught my eye with its modern-bohemian mix and clean, symmetrical layout. Even half of this space’s goodness would do a living room proud (and be easier on the budget)! The vintage hmong pillows add a nice splash of color, while the layered rugs keep things cozy. That chandelier, an iconic piece of design in itself, really steals the show and has such a great presence in the room. Now…which sofa to curl up on?

We had a request on our cabin decor round-up for more furniture pieces, and here they are! These stylish finds are perfect for the modern-minimalist who still wants a home that’s warm and cozy. The natural touches of wood and leather provide an earthiness and depth of color that are essential for any well-rounded room. No frills, patterns, or paint here—just beautiful, solid furnishings that will last for many years to come. Which one could you imagine in your space?
Our latest vote winner is this über chic office space, designed by Barcelona’s Bárbara Sindreu. Equal parts modern and rustic, this room balances earthy, natural textures and graphic black accents with ease. The oversized table-turned-desk provides so much work space, while the trio of bookcases meet an office’s storage needs in style. I can also imagine this space transforming into a formal dining room as needed—what a doubly great room!
