It’s Friday! And I couldn’t be more excited 🙂
I’ve been looking at beds lately, ever since my unexpected (& awesome!) Christmas gift from the Mr. has left me with a few additions to the Master Bedroom To-Do list. Reader, Cathy from Room Rx, emailed me with a great find she discovered and posted about here. Too bad they don’t come in CalKing! What a sleek gorgeous bed, very Mad Men-esque. And I love that the Chic Find version is called the Draper Headboard…nice shout out don’t you think? 😉
Enjoy the weekend folks see you back here on Monday!

LOVE the World Market bed – we bought it to stage our flip that's currently on the market and now I want it for my house! Here's a link to pics if anyone wants to see it in action: http://www.haynsworthrealty.com/idx/mls-11523405-6233_danbury_lane_dallas_tx_75214

This is a gorgeous bed. We bought it for our bedroom in a queen. We set it up and it looked fabulous until my lightweight (just under 160 lbs.) husband jumped on the bed and it came crashing to the floor, right through the frame. I'd skip it!

Don't know if you are looking for an uphoulstered headboard but Nate Berkus has a line with HSN. We ordered a king- its the headboard only- linen tufted with nailhead trim- beautiful!!!! The trim is the kind that is applied in a strip, obviously not each one is nailed in but only noticeable upon close inspection. Its tailored and quite nice for the price. Check it out!!!

I bought this bed during a sale and with membership coupon. It was $250. Normally $400.
And I love the crap out of it. i Lurve it. It's so sturdy and solid and beautiful. Nice clean seams, etc.
I thought it would fit into my explorere and the folks at the store said no, so i had to go get a truck, and when i opened the box, it totally would have fit. the headboard and footboard are stacked. so opening the box will help you get it home.

We have the world market bed and LOVE it! It isn't just a headboard, but an entire frame that is upholstered….just as pictures. Great thing is that we got it for $190. It was 20% off then an additional percent when I used a coupon I got for signing up for their newsletter.

For those who want a king-size, here's a similar bed on Overstock, which is on sale right now for $$786.59. Just be cautious, as the headboard is fairly short. http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Quincy-Natural-Twill-Fabric-King-Size-Platform-Bed/5249655/product.html

I saw another blog about these types of beds. I guess this is what's in with interior design. It looks very elegant and different, though, so I approve!

Total junk, as mentioned in an earlier post. Does not support weight due to a design flaw in the slat system. Mine broke, in the middle of the night, not a happy camper needless to say. You get what you pay for… and I've owned several World Market pieces, usually good quality. Stay away from this one.

The Tate is made with non off gassing soy based foam and fsc approved wood…it's also made in the USA. Yes the Draper is a good price, is it the same quality though? And is it massed produced in another country with toxic foam, endangered woods?
