It’s been awhile since I’ve shown you a glimpse of the dining room. You saw a good glimpse of it in my We Heart It for Heart Day party, but I wanted to create a post with all of the sources for you. It’s definitely a work in progress still, but it’s fun to watch it progress.
As you can see we added a rug from Well Woven to the room. I love the vintage look of it and the pattern gives the room some more interest. Also the darker color hides any food spills or stains. It really pulls the room together I think. Also, As you can see in the before pictures it was looking pretty sparse. Well Woven gave me a 20% off promo code for you to use as well: EIP3ZB2PHU75. Enjoy!
I updated the curtains to these black velvet drapes with these gorgeous tassel trimmed sheers. The chandelier was here when we moved in and it could possible be original…maybe…not sure. It’s all glass and crystal. The mounting plate is definitely new and needs to be replaced. I’m thinking of something like this.
The table we’ve had for 11 years now. wow. I bought it for $30 at a sample sale when I used to work for Pottery Barn HQ (crazy good deal right??) It’s a solid table for sure, but at some point, I’d love to replace it with an antique farm table or rustic table in a lighter wood to give the space some more contrast. We’ve had the white Panton inspired chairs for almost three years now. I still really like them. I think they’re comfortable, but they’re not the most sturdy for kids. They tend to tip if you lean too much to the left or right. So we’ll see, those might get an upgrade too, but for now, it’s nice to have the room more complete and a bit more inviting!
