We had four different kinds of soup. My Mom made Carrot Ginger Soup and her trademark turkey chili. I made this Cream of Mushroom Soup, which was so easy by the way! And my Grandma made her Chicken Jambalaya. We set up the main dining room table with crockpots, bread, soup mugs and spoons.
I didn’t get any good “in-progress” shots of the party (of course). But here’s a picture of the table halfway done setting up 😉 ha.
You can probably get the idea, but the theme was black and white with a mix of chalkboard, buffalo check & gingham.
Oh and for some after party antics, here’s a little montage of us *trying* to get some good family pics in. As you can see, not so successful 😉

Thanks Katie! It will be fun starting the photo series back up again 🙂 I'd do it with Arden too, but she never seems to stand still these days 😉

Congratulations! What a fun shower, not the same old thing! The black and white was a great choice, lovely!

Thank you! I always have a hard time resisting anything black and white.

Thanks Tia! I'm glad you think so! I wish I had gotten more actual party pics and not just the set-up. Oh well, next time!
