Okay! Finally, pictures of Arden’s nursery π To start it off, a couple of shots of Arden & fam enjoying the room, more specifically the soft rug!
To see more posts about Arden’s nursery: resources, planning, etc, check out label “CCC Nursery“.
You can see Arden’s shoe collection and her air purifier peeking out from under the dresser. |
Dying to buy these handles for the dresser, but they’re just sooo $$$! So still searching for just the right handles, although the ones on there now don’t really bother me π |
Love her hot pink wiener dog night-light! |
This is a vintage tapestry that I found at a flea market. The jury is still out on whether this is going to stay or not… |
Arden’s adorable shoes…even though she’s too young to wear most of them π |
A fun pin board for mementos |
A fun Disney water color print from the classic Cinderella animated film. |
I finally broke down and ordered those hooks from Anthropologie that I’ve been lusting after. So worth it! |
And some detail shots that you’ve already seen – taken by Eva from Eva Baker Photography!
I figured I’d include all shots in one post π

GORGEOUS!!!! One of the cutest nurseries I've ever laid eyes on. I'm sure you enjoy it as much as I know she does! Love all the cute little shoes too!
Thank you so much for sharing, this is such an inspiration!

Great job.. so unique.Β My fav has to be the lamp – love the fabric on the shade, gorgeous.Β Re. the vintage tapestry.. pretty, colors work well with the room.. but thinking it might look fab draped over the back of the white chaise.

Reichel, Arden is such a beautiful baby! And there are so many great details in her room! The knit pouf footstool is super cute. The use of serving tray as shoe rack is brilliant. The striped flat weave rug is both sophisticated and fun. The fluffy turquoise rug looks great for baby to play on, and the regency-esque bamboo side table is swoon worthy. Where did you get that table? And where did you find the striped rug, for that matter?
Excellent job!

Such a beautiful room, I love everything about it.

I love the handmade garland (?) on the crib! Where did that come from??

I love the antique dresser- so classic and it will grow with her. Her room is so lovely and unique, and enchanting! The rug is gorg- where did you get it?

*** Arden's room is sooo totally "cool"~~~ perfectly adorable AND livable!!! I like ALL you did/ALL your choices, ESPECIALLY the "not the norm" things one USUALLY sees, but……
… the pic of lil' ARDEN, w/ the cute pink ruffles, laying on the flocatti rug… on a "shelf", no less (!)… is just TOO HEARTWARMING for words!!!
EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here, Reichel, I leave feeling better than when I "arrived", and ALWAYS with a warm heart and big smile on my face!!! WHAT A LOVELY FAMILY!!!
Warmest as always,
Linda in AZ *

This is a great nursery. I love how it's not matchy matchy, but everything works.
I wonder if you could share with us how you hung your tapestry. I have a similar sized piece I'd like to hang but I've been having trouble figuring out how to do it.

… P.S. SOOOO HAPPY Arden has the joy of a dog, too! Yours is such a cutie, and he/she will be lots of fun for Arden!…
Michelle says
Fabulous job! Beautiful! You might need to remove that pretty easel though once she starts crawling around and pulling herself up…the room looks like it could be in a magazine!

Beyond the fact, that's a lovely room, perfect for baby Arden, it will grow. Β I especially like the books. Β I recommend Dogger by Sandra Hughes, and one of the best children's books out there. Β A librarian suggested it. Β It's hard to find thought.
Tracie says
love that it's not a typical nursery!Β sophisticated.. lovely. πΒ really love the last pic!!
boops says
What a beautiful room! And I'm not a fan of kids or their rooms, but what a very lucky little girl who will grow up to be a very sophisticated young lady I bet.
Merry says
Excellent creativity you have! I, too, think this is such a lovely place to enjoy with Arden! Thank you for sharing it with us. I would like to recommend Goodnight Moon for your library! A timeless classic! When Arden is about 4, read to her I Promise I'll Find You.

Oh, so pretty! I love that it's not a traditional pink and white room. Great job. She has plenty of fascinating eye candy in there.
Enjoy your mommy and baby time in that room.

Ok seriously, that is THE chic-est nursery I've ever seen! I totally bookmarked this to remember when I'm making a nursery someday. I love the use of grown up furniture and decor, but with a playful children's twist! Great Great Great Fantastic Job!

Very chic nursery! Love all the peacock details and that cupboard is beyond gorgeous! May I know where the cupboard comes from? And the photo of baby Arden sleeping on the sheepskin rug looks very beautiful and angelic. And she has the most adorable shoe collection!

Love the final product…fun watching it evolve into the sophisticated room it has become. This will be easy to morph into a "big girl" room when the time comes, great job Reichel!

I love the tapestry and think it adds great warmth to the space. I think it would look great framed. You could add wide white mat, a piece of acrylic for safety and a great frame and voila! you'd have a really spectacular piece of art.
annie says
Oh my…so many wonderful details. So much love and thought went into every little corner. I love the tapestry…did it stay? Her little shoes are so cute, the books, the lampshade and that last shot is adorable! So sweet…

Thank you! So to hang the tapestry, I sewed some velcro to the back and then attached Velcro (especially made for this purpose) to the wall. I found the kit at a local fabric store. Good luck!

Wow, very sophisticated baby room. Love the peacocks. Can I know where you get your baby's dresses? I particularly love the blue dress. I have hard time finding unique dresses for my baby girl. All I can find are carter's, which are boring.
