Happy New Year!

It's been an AMAZING year for Copy Cat Chic and I owe it all to each and everyone of my readers! All of the support and encouragement from you guys has made this blog what it is today.

Jonathan Adler Wool Fruit Pillows

Had a great morning today! Had a delicious decaf latte (or two) and a croissant (or two!) from this great little French bakery, La Boulange. It was just what the doctor ordered for a cold morning AND I got to catch up with a friend I hadn't seen in awhile.

Happy Hump day! This week is passing by too fast! The Mr. has took this whole week off and it's been so nice having him home from work. We've done a lot of tidying up on the ole' homefront as well as sleeping in and watching movies in front of the fire. It's been awesome! Today we made it over to one of our favorite breakfast spots, Brown Sugar Kitchen. Yummy soul food located down by the train tracks in Oakland. This place had a half hour wait on a Wed. morning...lol. It's worth it, but as you can imagine, it's scary busy on the weekends...

So here's a kooky-fun deal for those of you who are looking for a little personality to add to a room. I think it's just adorable, it would be right at home in our entryway....hmmm.

Restoration Hardware Martine Upholstered Armchair

Well, hellloooo there folks! I hope you had a great holiday weekend! I know I did! Who racked up on the Christmas gifts? I know I did :) Guess what the Mr. surprised me with? A new bed! Our old bed wasn't in bad shape at all, but we figured it was time to upgrade from a Queen size to a Cal King. During the pregnancy, I've been slowly but surely taking over the whole bed :) Poor Mr. has been relegated to a very small sliver if not the couch! Poor Mr....but with the new bed we are BOTH happy. Or should I say "Beyond Happy"...sorry for the cheesy joke. We got a Serta Vera Wang mattress and the style is "Beyond Happiness"... ;) I'm totally loving the Vera Wang collection. It's made with a natural latex core (no springs) and organic cotton infused with aloe. AND it has a 30 year warranty, pretty fabulous I must say!

Bourgie Lamp

Yes, it's Saturday and I'm posting! Craziness I tell you ;) Just figured I'd give you guys an extra post or two since I abandoned you earlier this week...

And this is GOOD one too! I know a bunch of you have been clamoring for a good Chic Find of the amazing, unparalleled Bourgie Lamp. I have too...and actually I have to admit, I do own one. It happens to be in bright metallic red...sigh. Yes, RED. The Mr. brought it home from work. He works for Campari and they created a limited amount of authentic Bourgie lamps in Campari's signature red. Now, when I first saw him walk in the door with that easily recognizable Kartell box, I squealed! When we opened it, I was in shock...metallic red! I've had to redesign a whole room around it. Pictures to come....
