West Elm Woven Pendant

This organic and yet still elegant pendant from West Elm is yummy, don't you think? I love the visual interest it brings to a room, it catches you eye and brings it up! How fun would it be in a creative home office or even a cozy breakfast nook?

West Elm's Woven Pendant = $199

Ikea offers a woven pendant with the same texture for a lot less, only the shape is slightly different. Makes it an easy choice in my opinion!

Ikea Ps Vava = $69.99

A Dress for Every Occasion

>> Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Okay Girlies, this one is for you! Valentine's day is coming up! And I don't know about you, but I love a chance to get dolled up. In fact the Hubs teases me because I always have to buy a new dress for every occasion. I don't know why, but I don't have that many opportunities to go all out, so when I do get a chance, I go big :) Who's with me?

Buying a new dress can be a pricey affair...so I just recently joined Wear Today Gone Tomorrow (I swear they aren't paying me to post this!). But I just reserved a gorgeous Diane Von Furstenberg dress to wear for Valentine's Day for only $35 for the week. Pure Awesomeness. I totally encourage you guys to check it out. And if you join? Plug in my email address: copycatchic at gmail dot com and we'll both get $10 credit!

Diane Von Furstenberg = $345.00
Wear Today Gone Tomorrow Cost = $34.50/week

Paired with a pair of gold chandie earrings and some strappy gold stilettos? That says romance to me! No need for red or pink ;)

Here are some examples of the heavenly dresses they have to offer:

Vera Wang = $1,580.00
Wear Today Gone Tomorrow = $158/week

Valentino = $5,390.00
Wear Today Gone Tomorrow = $539/week

Teri John = $760.00
Wear Today Gone Tomorrow = $76/week

Herve Leger = $1,300.00
Wear Today Gone Tomorrow = $130/week

Seems like forever ago...Anyhoo, a big thank you to all of you loyal followers that have stuck with me through thick and thin! I appreciate each and everyone of you. This one made me smile... ;) I totally tried to get my friend to buy one for his cabin in Tahoe, he wouldn't go for it. Some people just don't see the value a cardboard deer bust adds to a room! It's a pity ;)

Urban Outfitter's Giant Cardboard Taxidermy = $52

Uncommon Goods Cardboard Deer Head = $28

Crate and Barrel Era Console Table

>> Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Here's a reader request for you guys!

I have been searching for a console table to be placed my entryway to hold mail, keys, etc. The one caveat is that my apartment is tiny and the table can't exceed 39" width and 10" depth. This table from Crate & Barrel fits the bill perfectly...except that it is way out of budget, so I guess it technically exceeds the bill. Could you help me find something similar?

Thank you!

Best,
Laura
& everything is going to the beat

Thanks to CB2, Crate and Barrel's cheaper sister store, this one was an easy find!

Crate and Barrel's Era Console Table = $449

CB2's Smart Console Table = $199
