Restoration Hardware 17th C. Monastery Dining Table
>> Friday, December 17, 2010
Okay, two WHOLE days with out a post and it's not the weekend! You guys must be going through withdrawals, sorry for the mini hiatus! And we're (hopefully) back to our regularly scheduled programing ;)
Here's a good one to send you on your weekend with! I'm pretty excited about it! Because it means that we'll be seeing MORE in this gorgeous, distressed, natural, wood finish that Resto & Wisteria (and maybe only a few others) have had the exclusive on. Lookie, lookie...it's finally become available to the masses. Thank you Cost Plus for making my holiday season ;)
I originally spotted this on Dina's blog, Honey & Fitz (a FUN read, check it) and just had to repost it for you guys!

Woohoo!!
I love, love, love your site! It was fun to see Copy Cat Chic on The Nate Berkus Show, too. I love this look and I wonder if a modern chair would fit and which one you would choose. I've seen a lot of that lately and love the look! Thank you!
love the spool legs on the expensive models, alas. come on, Cost Plus, just re-do the legs and we are there!
I am obsessed with the original!
My honey loves this table, its a mans table. We have it. I just posted on my site. In person, its incredible.

@Smiles - Wow, looks even better in your photos! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks so much for the mention Reichel! Love this table and I agree, looks even better in Smiles' house than in the store.
Michelle, funny you mention modern chairs with this table because that's exactly what I posted about! I think some Louis ghost chairs would look incredible around this table. Or even a more traditional upholstered dining chair done in a fun, modern print.
Yeay Dina! Yes, those chairs sound gorgeous with the table.
Or even Emeco navy chairs or Marais? I love the contrast of metal against rustic wood, they play so nicely together don't you think? Good luck Michelle and let us know what you decide to go with! xoxox
Thank you for the ideas! I love the Ghost chairs and will definitely give some thought to a metal chair- half of the fun is in shopping for the right piece, right?
Your table, Smiles, is just gorgeous. Thanks so much for sending in your web-link so we can see the table better. A modern metal chair might be really fun.
I just bought this table from World Market, thanks to you and I absolutely LOVE IT. So well made and the look is fantastic. It has totally updated the look of my dining room. Thank you!
been looking for a picnic-style dining table. the bench makes it feel so homey and a little less formal. great find!
